Guiding Light

Sree Narayana Guru, the Sage Philosopher was born at Chempazhanthi in Thiruvananthapuram city.He was a becon of light, born once in a millennium to those grouping in darkness, a rejuvenation elixir to the weaklings and an oasis of hope to those who lost their right track of life. Gurudevan is a celestial genius, a wandering mendicant, a visionary, and a gnostic all rolled into one. He was a trilingual literate in Sanskrit, Tamil and Malayalam, who wrote prose, poetry and songs. He was an educationist of the highest order: conventional, sometimes vocational, yet unconventional. He proved himself as a true world citizen.
